What are the philosophical arguments for and against eating meat?

I have been doing my research for a paper that I am writing and I know all of the environmental and health arguments for and against eating meat. I also know all about what is being done to animals in factory farms. My question here is dealing with is it ethical to kill a humanely raised animal for food? what are the moral implications of killing animals for food? thats all for this question. Please don't give me info on the other stuff cause I know all that already thanks
