Question about rabbit meat for dog owners feeding raw/BARF diets?

I say go for it. It is just as safe as meat from the butcher. I feed my ferrets mice. I have tried to feed them to my dog but he refuses to eat them. You feed mice/rabbits etc whole. You may have to cut it open so your dog recognises it as food. He/she may or may not eat it. Some dogs are bothered by the fur (which is why my dog wont eat mice) but its worth a try.

I am all for treating animals humanely, but I hate some Animal Rights Activist. My parents owned a couple warehouses that would end up with mice or rats and the pest guy would put down traps and my husband (just because he loved me) and I would take a broom handle and trigger all the traps so nothing could get caught in them. :-D I've also used humane traps for little mice and releasing them, but have never had to deal with babies. I have stretched my ears to 3mm twice before. They have shrunk down both times. I only had them in for like a year tops really but yeah. I asked my piercing studio when I did and they said normally you can go up to 5mm with them shrinking back no problem. Its when you go larger that its an issue. Why is my horse behaving this way?

So I have just started leasing a horse in May. She is half arabian and is 13 years old. Her owner is struggling with drugs and illnesses. He never really rode her but had her fully trained. He boarded her at my best friend's stable's where I first met her. Now, he found me to lease her! We started out small, just daily grooming and whatnot. When my friend rode her horse, I walked (Bytheway her name is Spirit) Spirit with a lead rope. Because of the fact that she was never really loved by anyone, she was unsure and jumpy and very herd bound. Eventually, she fully got over all her fears and has since turned into a nice little mare..very sweet and very loving. I started to ride her bareback and she loved it! My friend and I rode all thorughout the woods, with little jumps and bolts here and there because Spirit is a little skittish. Now here is the problem! Yesterday, we took them out as usual and rode fine, until we reached one of the many openings to the creek. Here, Spirit decided to act up and tried to turn around to go to the creek. Since I started riding her, I noticed that every time we go by this opening (one of many!) she tries a little harder each time to turn and go there. Yesterday she spun around and took me into the creek. Yes it was hot and humid, but we had already played in the water in a different area...the area where we have always swam. Once in the creek, she just stood there. After a few, I turned her and she happily went about back to the barn, where she got a good bath. Now today...Oh boy! As we got to the opening, my friend said that we should take another trail away from the creek. Before I could turn her away, she kicked up into a trot and went down to the creek...off road! Despite my great ability to handle horses, Spirit just acted as if nobody was on her back. She would turn in the direction of the creek, trot there, stop when I screamed whoa and pulled and then freeze. When I turned her away, she spun in tight circles and trotted to the creek. I tried my best to stop her because she was heading towards the creek without realizing that there was a large hill with only smooth flat boulders that were slippery. She ended up sliding down the hill and right to the creek, where she once again stood. I had a whip with me that I don't usually use but she did not respond to that either.I was very, very annoyed and she had to know I was upset from all the shouting and whips. She has no aggression in her at all, just extreme stubbornness that came out of nowhere. A while later, we were cantering through a field as usual when she suddenly stopped and wheeled us into a bush. I ended up jumping off and walking her back.( I know I shouldn't have, but I really had to as she was acting up too much...and I did not have my whip with me at that point) After our terrible ride, we, now I don't know if this was correct, lunged her hard. Later that day, we rode again. She was much better, but by that opening, jeez she just tried so hard to get to the creek. Luckily I was as determined to get her to go as she was to go stand in the creek and we had a nicer ride. So I guess I want to know why she suddenly has so much determination to go stand in some shallow water after she already had a swim. It was not too hot today, so she's not too hot. She has a curled hoof problem that was temporarily fixed from the farrier just recently, but maybe she is sore again and the water feels good? I really have no idea! She was so good before at riding and now since yesterday is just being very ignorant and stubborn. We have never even swam in that area before! Never! And there are many opening to the creek, but she has decided to get stuck on this one. She is not in heat. Does anyone have any ideas on what her problem may be? they;ll take them to the local animal shelter. theyll bathe them and clean them up and groom them and put them up for adoption in their shelter. there are two kinds of shelters. some shelters have a waiting period for the dogs to get adopted. if theyre not adopted within that time, they are put down. this is because they cannot afford to keep every animal all the time. other wealthier shelters, dont put them down. these are non-euthanasia shelters. if your shelter is one of these, the dogs wont be put down and theyll wait there until they are adopted :) sounds like you did the right thing though.

I have an overcrowded tank problem--tropical fish?

I have about 16 fish in a 20 gallon tank, all about 2 inches or less in length. It'snot my fault because I got fish from PetSmart and they were not labeled male and female. So I bought two fish (not sure what type, but they were yellow and about 3 inches in adult size; I know they were some type of molly for sure, though) and they bred with some platy's that I had and ever since they have been having baby fish. So now I have mixed breed fish that the pet store surely will not purchase from me and my tank is really overcrowded. I really don't know what to do. It seems like I'm out of options. I can't buy another tank because I have nowhere to put it. I don't know anyone who needs any fish. The only thing I can think of is just killing them but I want that to be a last resort unless there's some way to humanely kill them. Last time I had to kill a fish was because it was too aggressive, much more so than other of the same species in my tank. All I did was put in in unheated, unfiltered tap water and I felt like it was cruel to do that. What should I do about my situation?

You should go to a hair salon because that's usually where they sale real human hair because if you get them at a store they'll probably rip you off. The best hair is indian hair it can cost you anywhere from 200 - 300 dollars for 1 track . I use to get weaves and extensions all the time in high school but it ruins your hair a lot because it rips it from the root and it can also rot your hair because of all the water that it absorbs. I am looking for an old cloth doll I cannot find.?

I had a cloth doll as a little girl that was white and she had yellow crosses for eyes and a mouth that was sewn in a smile and she had yellow yarn hair that stuck out beneath a bonnett that was made of lacey material and the dress was white and had itty bitty red strawberries on it and the body had a music box in side that has a crank in the tummy you wind. The arms and legs were white and the arms were mitten shaped hands. I always called her Shelly tho we dont remember if I just called her that or if that was the dolls actual name. we think its just what I used to call her. I got her when I was 3 and I actaully had 2 dolls but they both lost the music boxes and are falling apart. We bought them at Dillards but when I was 15 we went back to get them fixed and dillards said they didnt sell them any more as of several years ago and didnt know wher they might be sold. We assumed they were collectables at that point but last year my mom saw a little girl walk in the other side of church with her mom and she was carrying that same doll and the doll looked new. she wanted to ask the mom but lost the mom and daughter and never saw them again. can anyone help me find them? How to put my pet rat out of her misery?

I have never hurt an animal and never wanted to, but my pet female rat who is blind is dying. I think the other rat in the cage was stealing her food, even after I gave her the food myself, and she starved to death. She is literally only breathing, and kind of jerking her body occasionally, but other than that there is no movement and her mouth and eyes are open. We can't take her to the vet. I started to watch the one about a woman who eats a roll or two of toilet paper per day and had to turn the channel. I think, like car accidents, we are sort of compelled to watch the very odd and strange and that's what these shows count on. To me, they are insulting and embarrassing for the subjects. if you dont have space for a tank then dont get a bowl, no fish should be kept in bowls,unless its really big but it still wouldnt be a good idea, most of them are like 1 gallon so that is probably how big yours is and in 1 gallon you cannot put anything, if you really want to have some fish get at least a 10 gallon tank with a hood and get a filter a heater and maybe an air pump and some gravel and decroations then cycle your tank and then you will have more options you shouldn't keep anything in a bowl its messed up because of the shape it stresses out the fish. so if you got no space then you cant get fish they need good care because they are so sensitive.

Why does my OCD or whatever i have do this to me everytime i start a new hobby?

last week i started a stamp collection. yesterday i was looking at the over and sorting them out by year. i looked at some of them and i laughed to myself and said jeez it's like all you see on the stamps is people. then instantly my ocd kicks in. then i start to wonder is everystamp made have pictures of people,or are some made withouth people on them. so i go thru my collection and find one with just a building on it. no people or nothing,plus i find another one that just says usps on the bottom and then it says 10 cents. so i'm like ok so i guess they do make them without people. so i put them up and plan to come back latter to rework on them. as soon as i get up to go,i get like a weak stomach feeling in my stomach. and i go back to the book and open it and look at the same two stamps i explained earlier,the buliding one and the 10 cent one. so i'm like ok no people. then i leave. 2 minsutes later i feel funny and have to go back to view them again to make sure that they do make them withouht people on them. so then i get to wondering,do they make them with people in them. so i go back and grab 1 stamp that shows people on it,it's a stamp of george washinton,and a stamp of some soldiers and says armed forces. then i have to look at the ones with the building and 10 cent. so i'm like ok,some have people,some don't.then i walk away 4 mins later im' back looking. and today i had to leave the house,so in order to not feel funny i take the 4 stamps with me and look at them every few mins. so then i start to think,well maybe i'm just seeing things,so now i have to take them out and ask strangers on the street,if they see any people on the two stamps,and if they don't see any people on the other stamps. then when i get home i start to wondering if they make any with animals. and etc. it's like this everytime i start a hobby. it goes good for a few days or weeks,then something stupid comes up and will drive me nuts,and i'll have to wind up stoping the hobby cause if not. i will drive myself crazy over the stupid stuff. what can i do to stop making myself care over stuff like if some stamps have people,and some don't have people,just pictures of flowers,building,cars,animals and no humans in them. i refuse to give up anymore hobbies,so what can i do??

Doc laughs at mental I'll patient?

when i didnt feel well my friend who also is a male took me to my doctor who is an older male about 40 years old, and i had suicide idealation at the time...my doc, a nurse and a trainee came inside the office and told me whats going on and why im feeling the way im feeling and i didnt really tell him much, i kept everything inside of me and kept quiet..but i did tell him that i almost killed myself that day...and my doc told me how....i just stared at him and didnt say anything and i kinda looked down at the floor because of the embarrasement of what was going on. then my doc looked toward my friend to say whats going on and he pretty much told him that i was thinking of ending my life and didnt know what to do. the doc said that he felt very unconfortable and that he was going to call the police to take me to the hospital...when i acted like i wasnt hearing anything i was thinking oh crap hes goin to take me to the hospital with cops and ambulance jeez....then i told the doc "but i feel better now" and then he kinda laughed with the trainee and the nurse, and i kinda smurked but then felt sadness that they were laughing while i was having a crisis. does any doctor do this or did anyone experienced this???

I think it's good, and you definately have talent. You could make a little more descriptive language though and perhaps make the prolouge part of 1st chapter? I understand that you want to help your father but unforutnately for someone in his situation, there is nothing anyone can really do until he decides he wants to help himself. People who are addicts absolutely do have a disease, however it isn't the kind of disease that you can just pick them up and take them to the hospital. They have to make their own decision. Your father clearly hasn't made up his mind that he wants help yet. If I were you then I wouldn't do anything drastic like changing your name or cutting him out of your life. I would just keep my distance. ANd you know what, maybe YOU can be that person that comes if he needs help changing a tire. But just don't let him take advantage of you. Be there when he genuinely needs the help. And don't let his problems become the burden of your life. Vintage Bernina 830 Basting Stitch?

I have a vintage Bernina 830 from my grandmother. I am working on a sewing project and I need to use the basting stitch...but I don't know how to create that stitch on my machine.I have been playing around with the machine to figure out how to use the basting stitch, but so far no luck. Its always best to have it done by a professional. Your face contains thousands of nerves, if you hit the wrong one you'll probably be sorry. I don't know how you are hygiene wise, but I would never let a "friend" or anyone without a license puncture my face. Your risk of infection is greatly increased, and the positioning of the piercing is much more flattering when done professionally. Save money and wait for parental consent. Nose rings are grimey and trashy looking anyway on little kids, which you must be if you can 't even legally get a piercing. This wasn't rude, just honest.
