Why are some Asian cultures particularly cruel towards animals?

Someone else had posted a question similar to this. I didn't even look at your link because I have a cat and I wasn't "right" for a few hours after I saw the website the last time. For me (my cat is like my baby, a part of the family. BUt I think people have to remember that morality and anything like that is arbitrary, what is wrong to someone else may be acceptable to another eventhough If someoen did that to my cat I'd probably crush their skull in.
