How can I go about writing a novel?

Pretty much sit and write. I suppose there are multiple way to do it though. Go about the whole plotting storyboard character type deal. Or you could go with the jack Kerouac first thought best thought approach and just sit down and start your story, write what cones to mind. A writer should write what he feels too, no matter how revealing of yourself a story might end up being.
